On 2-14-2025 at approximately 7:35 p.m., Brown County deputies identified a driver of a 2011 Dodge Charger as Andrew Davis. Davis had a Felony $15,000 Failure to Appear Warrant out of Doniphan County. When the deputy got out of his vehicle to approach Davis, he immediately fled the area hitting an occupied Brown County Deputy’s vehicle and nearly striking the approaching officer. Brown County Deputies as well as Horton Police pursued Davis east on HWY 73. While nearing Atchison, their police department was successful in deploying stop sticks which disabled one of the tires on the Davis vehicle. The pursuit continued east over the Missouri River bridge and continued through Weston and ended on I-70 near 63rd Road in KS. At that time, a Kansas Highway Patrol Trooper initiated a TVI Pit Maneuver which pushed the Davis off of the roadway. Davis was subsequently arrested and transported to the Brown County Sheriff’s office on charges of:

- Aggravated Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer
- Possession of Meth
- Possession of Marijuana
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
- Drive While License Cancelled, Suspended or Revoked
