March 1 of 2025 marks the 25th year since Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy Todd Michael Widman gave his life protecting the citizens of Brown County, he was just 21 years of age.

To honor Todd’s legacy, the Brown Co. Sheriff’s Office is offering custom challenge coins in remembrance of Todd’s sacrifice, with 100 percent of proceeds going toward a scholarship in his name: Deputy Todd Michael Widman Memorial Scholarship, which will be awarded to a 2025 Brown Co. high school senior, paid to the college of their choice.
