The new Brown County jail was built in 2010 and dedicated in Memory of Deputy Todd Widman.
We have a 50 bed facility which has an average daily population of approximately 24 inmates.
The jail employees are made up of a Sgt., Corporal and jailers.
Currently we do not house out of county inmates.
