On 3-29-2021 the Brown County Sheriffs office, with the assistance of the Horton and Sac and Fox PD, executed a search warrant at 940 E. 8th Street in the City of Horton.
Arrested on charges of Possession of Opiates, Possession of Stimulant, Possession W/Intent to Distribute , Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, No Drug Tax Stamp, and Possession of Stolen Property was 56 year old James Schecher of Horton. Almost 2 pounds of THC product, bongs, as well as other paraphernalia was seized. The incident is still under investigation by the Brown County Sheriffs office.
