On 4-10-2020 the Brown County Sheriffs office assisted the Richardson County Sheriff’s office on a traffic stop in Nebraska. 29 year old Sara Ockinga and 48 year old Oak Anderson were both arrested on 9 felony counts on both subjects. The following letter from Sheriff Hardesty can better explain the quantity and description of drugs indicated by our K-9, Ari. We have had great success with our K-9 program and have fostered wonderful relations with many law enforcement agencies in our area.
On 4-12-2020 based on a traffic stop, Karla Jo Coversup was arrested on charges of Felony Possesion of Marijuana, Possession of Meth and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She also had a Hiawatha city Warrant and a Kickapoo Tribal Warrant.
